The Apple Music Frameworks team owns the technology stack that enables the system-integrated Apple Music experience on all of our mobile platforms: iOS, watchOS, and homeOS.
While HomeOS could be many things, it could be the rebranding of Apple’s current smart home framework, HomeKit. But personally I think it’s more than just a rebranding, it’s going to be a whole operating system that will power Apple’s future smart home platform.
This could also pave the way for the stuff I have been talking about for sometime now with U1 and machine learning automations.
