After delays, the long-awaited Mighton has announced the Avia smart lock is available to buy via its website. The Multi-Point compatible smart lock which features HomeKit support, TS 007 3 star cylinder and key fob control.
In the UK and Europe, you will find a multi-point locking system, in most UPVC and composite doors. So the Avia smart lock will be welcome news for customers with this lock type.
The AVIA smart lock works with the Apple HomeKit smart home platform. Which means you can use an iPhone, iPad, and the Apple Watch to control the lock locally. You also can control the smart lock remotely if you are using a HomePod or Apple TV in your HomeKit setup.
It is also possible to send virtual keys to other people for use via their smartphones, with a full audit trail recorded for all activities. If you choose, you can use a traditional key that may be used in the TS 007 3 star cylinder as an emergency backup to offer total peace of mind.
The Lock will come in Chrome, Satin Chrome, Gold, White and black finish on the inside. The outside handle is available in Chrome, Satin Chrome or Gold. Pricing starts at £350 and you get an Avia smart lock, batteries and key fob in with the price. You purchase via the company’s website.
