Eve Systems today announced the launch of a redesigned version of the Eve Aqua. The HomeKit enabled smart home device gets a redesign, a more quiet motor and like the previous supports Thread.
Eve has designed the new Eve Aqua with a sleeker look that features a space gray body and matte black front. This is like its recent product releases, such as the Eve Room. Eve has also equipped the new Eve Aqua with a magnetic valve for improved durability, leak protection, and quieter operation. The device is powered with two AA batteries and IPX4 rated, and contains UV protection to minimise sunlight damage.
Eve Aqua is compatible with all popular hose systems and multi-channel water distributors, such as Gardena or Kärcher. Plus, it offers 7 watering periods when used with the Eve app.
HomeKit over Thread
In combination with a HomePod mini or the new Apple TV, Eve Aqua also supports Thread. This technology makes your smart home faster, more reliable and increases its reach.
The all new Eve Aqua is available today across Europe for €149 and the US for $149.99 from Eve’s own website. Eve will start selling the device via Amazon later this month for £129.99
