Philips Hue Bridge to be updated to matter in early 2023

Signify has announced that the Philips Hue Bridge is now Matter certified, with a software update coming to all users by Q1 2023. The free firmware update will make most existing and new Hue lights and accessories Matter compatible.

Signify says that the Hue Bridge update will preserve previous settings and personalizations in the Philips Hue App. But Apple HomeKit users will need to reset to connect again via Matter.

While they slate the Matter update for Q1 2023, Developer can access the beta firmware as of today. But as with any beta, I would advise caution against installing and wait for the final version to ship.
