Sony introduce new TV’s with HomeKit and AirPlay 2 support

Sony has announced a range of new 8K and 4K TVs that will feature HomeKit, and AirPlay 2. The New TV’s from Sony for 2021 go to 85 inches with 8K support. But if you are looking for something more affordable, the MASTER Series A90J range with 4K.

HomeKit support for the lineup means that users can interact with their TV using Siri or the Home app on their iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac. Which is useful if you forget to leave the TV on and you are upstairs or want to include it in a movie scene.

Additionally, AirPlay 2 makes it easy to stream content from iPhones, iPads, and even Macs. That content can be audio or video, which includes videos from the photos app.

Sony has not confirmed pricing, but says that they should be available at some point later in the year. I will keep you posted on pricing and a firm date for availability once Sony releases it. You can also follow us on TwitterFacebookYouTube and Instagram.
