Nuki to launch white version of its smart lock and powerpack

Nuki has announced that they are adding a special edition white colour option to its smart lock, the Nuki 2.0. In addtion, Nuki is offering a Power Pack that customers can use to power the company’s new and existing smart locks. Nuki 2.0 smart lock white edition

The white Nuki Smart Lock does not differ in terms of functionality found in the already available black model. Although it will ship with the newly announced Nuki Power pack as part of the package. The limited white edition Nuki 2.0 smart lock will be available exclusively from its own web store in October while stocks last.

Nuki Power Pack

In terms of the Nuki Power Pack, the new power solution virtually replaces the AAA batteries previously required to operate the Nuki Smart Lock. The Nuki Power Pack will work with both the Nuki 1.0 and 2.0 smart locks.

Nuki claims that the battery pack will last up to 12 months on a single charge. If the power drops below 20%, LED’s will start flashing on the device itself along with an alert in the Nuki app. Charging is provided by a USB-C cable.

The price for the Nuki Power Pack is 49 euros and will start shipping in October via its Web store and Amazon.

Nuki Club

Finally, Nuki is expanding on its services and community focus with the Nuki Club and installation service. The Nuki club which offers a range of discounts and early looks at new products and is is free to join via the company’s own app.

The company has introduced a professional fitting service to get your Nuki Lock fitted. This service is limited to a few cities across Germany. But Nuki may look to expand this later down the line.
