iHaper Smart Light Strip review

iHaper Smart Light Strip review – The iHaper Smart Light Strip is not your average smart bulb. It’s a plastic strip of LEDs that you can use for accent lighting behind a TV unit, or just about anywhere else in your home. Unlike the Philips Hue Strip light, you do not need a separate hub to operate and its half the price.

You can use the use the iHaper Smart Light Strip with smart home platforms such as Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit. But strangely enough, it’s only compatible with iOS as of the time of writing this review.

Review Summary
The iHaper smart light strip is significantly cheaper than its competition such as Philips Hue and LIFX. To add to this the product is HomeKit compatible and you don't need an additional hub to get the device working. The colour range is good and will provide you with ample choice depending on the mood you are trying to achieve. However, if you need warmer or white colours, then these will leave you disappointed. besides the white colour issue, the lights are also not overly bright and may not be suitable for every room. However, you can not get away from the price point for these, they offer good value and if you can put the limitations to one side. Then these could be a great option for someone on a budget wanting HomeKit support
