First showcased at CES 2023 and scooping 8 “Best of CES” awards for product design and innovation, Nanoleaf has finally announced the Skylight is available for preorder with shipping by end of January 2024.
Skylight features a flush-mounted modular square design with diffused multi-point lighting, creating a soft and natural lighting. Each square emits 1400 lumens of light and boasts a lifespan of 25,000 hours. Equipped with Nanoleaf’s comprehensive suite of smart features, Skylight includes the Rhythm Music Visualiser, Schedules, Magic Scenes, RGBW colour options, and more.
Installation Starts by hardwiring one square to your electricity supply, then expand unto 100 additional squares throughout your ceiling, allowing freedom to fashion your own designs using the modular setup. For the first time, users can extend their ceiling fixtures into previously inaccessible spaces, bringing illumination to areas once impossible to light up.
Apple Home via Matter
Skylight connects via Wi-Fi and is integrated via Matter with your preferred smart home ecosystem. This means Skylight works with Apple Home via Matter and can be controlled using the Apple Home App. This gives you basic control over colours, on and off and automations, But with like any Nanoleaf product to get the most out of them, then you can use the Nanoleaf app. This allows you to adjust colours and Scenes like “Gentle Rain” or “Sun Shower” to establish the perfect atmosphere for morning-to-evening routines in the bedroom or focused work hours in office spaces.
Nanoleaf Skylight Price and availability
Nanoleaf Skylight is currently open for pre-orders at go.nanoleaf.me and is priced at €249.99 / £229.99 for the Starter Kit (3 squares) and €79.99 / £69.99 for Expansion Packs (1 square). Products will start shipping in late January 2024.
